Background of Gallery Tower
Gallery Tower is located near Washingtom Place and as the name suggets whole street comprises of Arts, Gallery shop and infact just opposite to this apartment we have Walters Arts museum. I haven't got chance to visit this museum but it seems quiet popular with schools. As on weekdays, I often see queue of school bus and childrens visiting the museum.
Gallery tower is 55m and 50th tallest building in Baltimore and has 21 floors and built in 1964.
Just behind our apartment there is huge public library and I got membership immediately.
Facilities at Gallery Tower
It has all amenities which a modern apartment should have.
There is a swimming pool which I have not yet visited, Gym with all new equipments and TV (atleast I can watch my news till I get my own TV and cable), Trash Chute on each floor, Round the clock security, Business center which has PC with net connection and printout free for residents and a company bus which takes you to food market twice a week and a mall once a month. This will really help me in doing household grocery till I get my own car.
